Reaction to the blogging project

• What do you like about it? What didn't you like about it?

I like it because it's really a good way that can show my own opinion on something to other people. Than through the comment, I can get different ideas from other classmates. Blog is very convenient for us to communicate with each other. I didn't like it because I am not good at writing.

• What did you learn from participating in this project?

I have learned some writing skills in the blog. It's more free and easier than common writing. 

• Should marks be given to this project?

Yes, as Esraa said, it's better than getting the same 5% in an exam.

             Some people noticed that teenage online players have a number of serious social problems. They prefer to spend more time in cyberspace than the real world. Most of these students don't like to do the school-related activities, they only care about their roles in the game. Some even imitate the violent or destructive behaviors that they observe in the game, sometimes include murder and suicide. Furthermore, some teenagers learn anti-social behaviors online which include stealing other players' virtual treasures.

Research Paper

I think my research paper is not bad. My topic is new and knowledgeable. Yes, I concede that it's a little bit completed. But i want to try something new. Indeed, this research working was a big challenge for me, that was a very tough time at the very beginning, because i never do this before. However，i finished it at last and you know I felt a great sense of achievement. 


If god gives me a second chance, I'll never do this topic again, never!! it's extremely difficult. And i have no interested on engineering either. Maybe i'll try some topics about science or universe or sneakers or maybe the famous carton TOM and JERRY and so on. i have lots of strange ideas. 


During I worked on my research paper, i think my reading and writing skills improved. But the most important one is confidence, this experience will help me to do a better job when next research comes (although i hope it'll never happened again)

Discrimination

                                We can never judge a person whether he or she is good or not only by appearance or first impression. In Elliott's impressive class, she taught all children this reason. Good personality depends on  people's internal factors，no matter what color of  his or her skin（eyes）are and whether the person is good looking or not. However, discrimination is still exist in today's society. In my opinion, for few Western countries, the discrimination depends on different races or colors. And for Eastern countries, the causes are wealth and status. This action is unreasonable, I hope the same course like Jane Elliott's can be used in all of the elementary school.

Population

1. There are five children in my father's father's family (gee, i have no idea about how to separate the two different family, my father's family and my mother's family. English only has these two words: grandmother and grandfather. same meaning when i say my mother's mother or my father's mother. But in Chinese we have four words. So it's easy to know whether we talk my father's family or my mother's family. It's really confused me. I just complaining, never mind），my father is the youngest. In my mother's mother's family, they have four children. For sure, i am a single child. In the future, if i become a father, I will be a great father with two children, one girl and one boy.
2. Chinese population has a huge number. The official's number is 1.3 billion. But i never trust them, they always kidding. I think the real number must over 1.5 billion. It has caused many bad effects on the quality of life. High medical fees, high house fees (even most of the people don't have a house or a villa) i mean high apartment fees and high educational fees. Graduated university students are difficult to find a job and so on.
3. Yes, the most remarkable thing is the urban sprawl. Every city is much bigger than before. On the one hand, it helps the city to develop with a high speed. On the other hand, it is also a giant border for citizens. Too much pressure and competition for them. Even for the kids who are under five years old. Their parents asked them to learn every thing when they at a very very young age which was suppose to have a beautiful childhood. And it is a very common phenomenon in China. Damn!!! What the hell ...


By the way, I love my country very much, but i hate the f***ing stupid government. Again, i just complaining, never mind

Lullabies for little criminals

It is a huge progress for me to finish reading an English novel, I never do it before. Lullabies for little criminals is an interesting book which talk about a young life on the streets. When I first read this book I saw the difference between Western culture and   Eastern culture. Because you know Chinese modern novelist they never write this type of story. A story of real and seamy society. It's forbidden and also unacceptable for government. OK, let's stop talking about policy. ^ ^
I enjoy the part of written review, because i can show my own opinion about this book, anything i want. From the presentation, I learned a lot, especially from the other groups. each of the novel was new for me.

Definition of happiness

          Everyone desires happiness. Some of them can get happiness from marriage, some may be come from work and the others may feel happy from making money. In my opinion, happiness is a kind of feeling which makes you feel satisfaction, which is very crucial for our daily life. When we busy with study or work, there may have two kinds of person which have different attitude on doing things. One of them seem to be easy to lose their mind. They just keep working and working, like an unstoppable machine without any emotion. Even if we ask them why they do this job, the usual answers are' I have to do this' or ' Oh, damn. I need more money.'  Sometimes money doesn't always bring happiness. For others, they may not rich at all. It was, nevertheless, they feel  full of happiness all the time. The reasons are they found their goal of life, they work hard to make family happiness, also these people found the pleasure of doing it in their own heart. This satisfaction can reduce the pressure and bring confidence to us to keep moving.
          I still remember I saw a movie which name is The Pursuit of Happyness (my spelling is right - -). It is a very impressive movie I saw several times which talked about a young father keep moving on the road of achieving his own happiness. The beginning time is always difficult. Even no money to pay bills. Even they had to live in the cheapest motel or metro station. Even refused by people many times. Chris Gardner never give up, never up to pursue happiness.
          In most of the time, these words which are used to describe feeling or emotion defies description accurately. But when you are personally on the scene, you will get the feeling.

Building super high skyscrapers is a perfect idea

The existing of skyscrapers is unstoppable just like the population increasing. And it's never gonna be a bad thing. From the art's point of view, each building looks like an artwork. They stand over there, show us the most genius and magical design which were just from our human beens. All of them are the crystallization of civilization.From the another point of view such as practicality, we can also take advantage from them. The biggest assistance is to reduce the population density or control the urban sprawl. We move from "out’ to" up", more space we got less crowded the city is. That's why i always believe human need skyscrapers :)

My reaction from the first uint

I'm very enjoy in studying this unit, because i like architecture very much especially the super skyscrapers. For me, each building is an unique artwork. They are beautiful and spectacular :)
